CommentsWe are doing a Halloween-fest at the Stockton st Farm (354 Stockton st) on Sunday Oct 30th - we plan to have face painting, costume contests and other scary fun activities. We are looking for folks to participate, either by bringing food, leading arts & crafts or other activities or donating decorations - pumpkins, scarecrows, ect. Please contact me if interested in helping out - it should be lots of fun for the whole neighborhood!!

We need folks to pick up boxes of food on Sundays in Downtown Brooklyn and weeknights in Williamsburg. Help us feed people in our community! CommentsPic of us working at the wood-shop building some benches from recycled (dumpstered) wood! Benches are hand crafted using chisels, and will be placed in the new Stockton st Farm and the Stagg st Farm, allowing people to sit and enjoy the urban farms. We are working at the Woodshop every Wednesday & Thursday 2 - 6pm, wood-shop is located at 145 Troutman st Brooklyn, NY. We encourage folks to come by and give us a hand, no prior wood-working experience required! Hope to see ya there!
CommentsThe Barmans Fund - a super awesome group of bartenders that pool their tips once a month to fund various community organizations - has generously bought us a blackboard & dictionaries for all the students for our free ESL beginners English class!! Thank you so much Barman's Fund - you donation will give folks in our community to learn the vital basic of English for free!
