CommentsThanks for your input Chelsea, very good point. Steven Wright is one of the few comics that can pull the pun off. I don't think their can really be a low form or high brow humor. It really comes down to the performer and how he delivers his material. I love Steven Wright and Miss Mitch's Comedy A LOT, he was truly a unique voice that is often forgotton.What did you think of the rumor going around the that Demetri Martin stole Mitch's act?Thanks again for your post :)
CommentsI've heard that puns are one of the lowest forms of humor... but I don't think that's necessarily true. Awesome comics like Mitch Hedberg and Steven Wright work puns into sets and it's brilliant, not asinine. Still, I know most of my friends don't really love puns and every time I've put one in a set the reaction is VERY inconsistent. Thoughts?
